Application

The applications must be done online via uni assist platform. All necessary and relevant documents must be uploaded using this portal. Documents send via E-Mail or Post cannot be evaluated during the application process. All documents must be submitted either in German or English. If the applicants’ documents cannot be presented in the on of these two languages a certified translation must be submitted.

The examination of the applicants’ documents usually consists of two phases. At first, the documents will undergo a formal check for their completeness and authenticity. Also, language proficiency is evaluated during this stage. Afterwards, a thorough check of knowledge-related aspects is carried out based on the criteria set by the examination regulations of the course. Applicants will then receive either a rejection or an admission letter. Depending on the applicants’ background knowledge the admission may be subject to conditions (additional subjects) which must be fulfilled before the registration of the master thesis. Limits of the additional subjects must stay within the limits detailed in the examination regulations.
